In this captivating story, Heather Johnston shares how God called her away from her ordinary life into a pursuit after Him that led her to an unexplainable love for the nation of Israel. This call to Israel ushered her into the unlikely arena of international politics and building on the most contested land on earth. It was unnerving, unexpected, and audacious-but completely ordained by God.

Uncommon Favor cuts through the confusion and watered down definitions of what it means to be a modern-day disciple. It examines the way Jesus prepared His original talmidim, or disciples, in the first century and what He requires of us today. Indeed, the life of a true disciple is one of steadfast love and chutzpah, or raw nerve. It is about hearing and following Him. It is about risking everything. It is the rhythm of utter helplessness and divine power. It is coming under His yoke, faithfully, for a lifetime.

Discover the intentional life of a disciple - and become one of the few to embrace His uncommon favor.

Uncommon Favor deeply and compassionately inspires the rebirth of a Talmid--a disciple of Jesus--for the twenty-first century. Heather Johnston, renowned leader and speaker on modern Israel, explores the origins of being a Talmid and often asks the piercing question: 'Have you turned your shaky self over to follow Jesus?'
